Lifeboat Launch 10 December 2005

Coxswain Danny Coutts names the lifeboat mural "Volunteer Spirit" in honour of the men and women who give freely of their time in the service of the RNLI. Holding aloft the flares are crew members Janet Lowe and Andrew Murray. Captain Iain Dunderdale takes centre stage.

I promise, Ken, the bottle wasn't cracked open, but it was well christened with the champagne. Would have been lovely to have you here for the launch, but you'll no doubt be back up sometime soon. Noreen
