Jack was a family friend since I was little. He was a school friend of my late father Hamish Askew and they kept in touch over the years. My mum still visits Ivy his widow. Last time I saw Jack he had been ill and the late Bill Sutherland the vet another frequenter of the loch popped in to see him and chat about the fishing. Jack never changed over the years.

I wonder if Janet, Jack's daughter is online as it would be nice for Ivy to see how well thought of Jack was.
