Royal Hotel - date?
In the foreground the Royal Hotel. The building next to it was previously Miss Skene's Drapers, later Willie Munro's cycle shop, later demolished.
The adjoining building was owned by Murdo Macleod Painter & Decorator, later to become Macleod's (Nonie's) Toys and Fancy Goods.
The building is now owned by Wilson Solicitors whose gable now sports the Lifeboat mural.
Picture added on 15 July 2005.
